The Seren Taun ceremony is a traditional Sundanese ritual that has been preserved across generations, especially in agrarian communities such as Sindangbarang Cultural Village in Bogor, West Java. Held annually, the ceremony expresses gratitude to God Almighty for the bountiful harvest and serves as a prayer for prosperity in the coming year. Philosophically, Seren Taun embodies deep spiritual and social meanings, reflecting the Sundanese worldview that emphasizes harmony between humans, nature, and the Creator.
