The Effect Of The Use Of Light Properties Protocols In Learning On Learning Outcomes Science Grade Iv, State Elementary School 1 Putih Doh Cukuh Balak Tanggamus

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using a light properties box teaching aid on students’ learning outcomes in the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subject for Grade IV at SD Negeri 1 Putih Doh, Cukuh Balak, Tanggamus Regency. This research employed a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental method. The research design used was a pre-test and post-test control group design. The population of this study consisted of all fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Putih Doh. The research sample consisted of 18 students. Data analysis was conducted using the paired sample t-test. The results showed that the alternative hypothesis H_a was accepted and the null hypothesis H_o  was rejected. It can be concluded that the use of the light properties box teaching aid significantly affects students’ learning outcomes in the IPAS subject for Grade IV at SD Negeri 1 Putih Doh, Cukuh Balak, Tanggamus.
